Kurt Campbell, Coordinator for the Indo-Pacific, White House National Security Council

ALI hosted a meeting with Kurt Campbell discussing U.S. policy in Asia, including the Administration’s plans for engagement with China, the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Modi, and defense relationships in the region, including AUKUS, China policy. Participants also discussed trade in the region, including updates on APEC and the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) and other positions on international trade.

ALI is developing a 21st century vision and policy agenda for American global leadership, based on American interests and shared values.
